"We took a chance and ordered 4 meals by Uber eats to try Bak a Yaad. I am picky with my restaurants and stick to our regular Island spots. I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. The food was delicious and plentiful, We ordered a large Jerk chicken and large fried chicken with rice and peas and vegetables . The flavor was delicious, not too spicy on jerk. The fried was great. The curry chicken was tender and nuff flavor, not spicy. The stew chicken had a great color. We will definitely order again. The chef does amazing dishes. Keep it up! Another update 8.6.23 We ordered curry goat and it was so tender and delicious with white rice and vegetable. The goat was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of spice. We also had to order the tender oxtail with rice and peas again. This was an excellent dinner especially with ice cold red stripes to celebrate independence. We ordered again 6.22.24, picked up the Oxtail, Jerk Pork and curry goat dishes. The food is amazing well seasoned and huge portions. We also met the owner and informed us to visit on Fridays for more authentic JA style dishes and also DJ playing music."

"Atmosphere was nice. There was music playing and there’s a bar to catch a vibe. I got the oxtails with rice and beans. The oxtails are pretty good, cooked throughly. They were fast and customer service was also good."

"Good spot for a Jamaican food taste is not very different from your restaurant chain Like Donna's or Golden crust but the lunch special plate is big and for five dollars you cannot beat it"

"This is my first time eating at this place and the food is amazing. I ordered curry goat and it was cooked to perfection! I also bought a natural juice called “Mia’s” and it was refreshing and tasty. The staff were nice and efficient as well. I am officially making this restaurant my “go to”. Thank you."

"It was my first time trying Jamaican food, I was not disappointed. I ordered goat curry for myself and my husband ordered king fish. Both were good in taste, the goat was a winner though, very tender. We took small meal size but it was quite enough. Thumbs up from me."
